20 Things to Love About Fall

I have it on good authority that if you don’t write a blog post about “things you love about fall” the internet revokes your URL. No questions asked. It’s kind of a harsh rule, but I get it. And as a rule follower by nature I’m just not willing to fall on my sword on this one.

So without further ado…

My top 20 favorite things about fall.

Hoodies, Football, Panic dreams about your wood stove. What's not to love?

I’m not entirely sure I did this right… So internet please give me a pass this time, it’s my first year blogging. Next year’s fall post will be way less snarky and will mention pumpkin spice at least three times. Are we cool?

Share your favorite snarky or non snarky things about fall in the comments! Because even though fall isn’t summer, it’s still really lovely.

With a cozy sweater and Pinterest board full of Halloween costume ideas,

Shop the post because for once I’m linking things someone might actually buy and not cold pizza in bulk or banana ring toss. (Amazon Affiliates! I’m getting better at this! Kind of.)

  1. I’m that person who just picked up pumpkin spice coffee grounds AND pumpkin spice chai tea. Is fall really fall without pumpkins and pumpkin spice? 😂 I love the changing leaves during fall. New England always looks gorgeous. The midwest (where I’m from) isn’t too shabby either. And haunted hayrides/mazes/corn mazes. I love all of it!

    • All the pumpkin! My Pinterest boards look like pumpkin just exploded. I’m taking a hard pass on haunted hayrides though – we went to one when I was a kid where someone chased the hayride with a chainsaw and I’m still deeply affected by it. I hope yours are more pleasant!

    • No sarcasm on that one! He honestly loves seasonal decor. I only quoted it because I sort of adore that he calls it seasonal decor. Thanks for reading and laughing with me!

  2. YES!!!!! I love this. I am all about some Fall. Some of yours were hilarious- like getting stuck behind school buses. lol. But I love Fall! I make my own fall candles, I love hoodies, I love apple and pumpkin picking, and pumpkin coffee is my jam! haha

  3. “10. My annual letter to the mall calmly explaining that September is simply too early for Christmas decorations” – do you really do this? 😀 OMG, that’s amazing, but you’re so right!
I love fall, it’s my favourite season and was thinking about writing a post about it, too haha! I love the colors, the cardigans, the boots, the scarfs, the pumpkin spice and anything pumpkin really and the promise of Christmas coming up!

  4. I was going to say, “Where is the pumpkin everything, Becca?!” I love that I can unabashedly make pumpkin food without someone laughing at me. Actually, f- it, I bake pumpkin bread ALL YEAR LONG, and all you pumpkin haters can just go … and eat banana bread. I don’t know. I’m the one who CLEARED out Target’s shelf of pumpkin spice coffee (reg and decaf) when it hit the shelves. 😮
Transitional pieces … 3/4 sleeves? Capris? Layers? I don’t know either. Maybe that’s why I either cold in fall or sweating in sweaters!
